Dr. Jennifer Ip

Optometrist

Dr. Jennifer Ip was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Vancouver. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Ip moved to Forest Grove Oregon in 2010 to attend Optometry school at Pacific University. While studying in optometry school, she was active in her Class Council, Student Organization Association, AMIGOS, and College of Optometrist in Vision Development. Dr. Ip’s clinical externship experiences included a large private practice in Grants Pass, Oregon, the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fresno, California, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska, and a co-management OD/MD practice in Langley, British Columbia. She graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2014 and is excited to be back in British Columbia. She is an active member of the British Columbia Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists.

Outside of the eye world she enjoys finding interesting and new restaurants, trying foods from different cultures, traveling to new places, running hiking, and exploring the great West Coast.
